• I am an Osteopath and also a Lecturer at both UCO (formerly BSO) and LSO osteopathic colleges
  • Patients are my main interest - helping them to reduce pain, function well and to maintain good health
  • My interest in osteopathy started at the age of 15  when I had to see an osteopath due to a sporting injury.  Having competed in netball, volleyball, hockey and tennis I had to contend with many injuries and following sustaining a back injury I was introduced to the benefits of osteopathic treatment
  • I decided to pursue a career in healthcare in 1993 and completed courses in massage, aromatherapy and reflexology
  • I then decided to pursue my first interest and true passion - Osteopathy and completed my 5 year degree with honours in 2002
  • Subsequently I completed a Western Medical Acupuncture course in 2005 and various Cranial sacral osteopathy/therapy courses
  • I have worked in various clinics in Blackheath, Bromley and Bickley over the years and for 2 years in a GP’s practice in New Cross treating patients referred by the doctors in the practice
  • I have always been interested in family health and as a result I often treat all family members from the very young to the elderly - and currently tutor on the Specialist Paediatric Osteopathic Practice PGCert course at UCO as well as teach the Sports Module at the LSO
  • I am currently in the process of completing my Masters (MSc) in Sports Injury Management at Brighton University
  • I continue to study on various cpd (continual professional development) courses and have just completed an Osteopathic Leadership course with the Open University

Being a keen gardener the obvious route of combining her love of gardening and her love for osteopathy came to her in 2012 when she decided to open the Garden Studio Osteopaths in the wonderful setting of a garden.
