About

  • I am an Osteopath, Hypnotherapist, Master NLP Practitioner and an ICF accredited Professional Coach as well as a Lecturer at both UCO (formerly BSO) and LSO osteopathic colleges

  • Patients are my main interest - helping them to reduce pain, function well and to maintain good health

  • My interest in osteopathy started at the age of 15 when I had to see an osteopath due to a sporting injury. Having competed in netball, volleyball, hockey and tennis I had to contend with many injuries and following sustaining a back injury I was introduced to the benefits of osteopathic treatment

  • I decided to pursue a career in healthcare in 1993 and completed courses in massage, aromatherapy and reflexology

  • I then decided to pursue my first interest and true passion - Osteopathy and completed my 5 year degree with honours in 2002

  • Subsequently I completed a Western Medical Acupuncture course in 2005 and various Cranial sacral osteopathy/therapy courses

  • I have worked in various clinics in Blackheath, Bromley and Bickley over the years and for 2 years in a GP’s practice in New Cross treating patients referred directly by the doctors

  • I have always been interested in family health and as a result I often treat all family members from the very young to the elderly - and currently tutor on the Specialist Paediatric Osteopathic Practice (SPOP) PGCert course at UCO and Functional and older adult treatment on the MSc at LSO

  • I have a Masters (MSc) in Sports Injury Management am a Master Practitioner (NLP) Neuro-Linguistic Programming as well as having a BSc (Hons) Degree in Osteopathy

  • I continue to study on various cpd (continual professional development) courses including completing an Osteopathic Leadership course with the Open University. In March/April 2022 I attended an EFT (tapping) and Matrix ReImprinting course I have completed a Transactional analysis certificate and currently completing a Diploma in Neuroscience and a EMCC Supervision Diploma.

Being a keen gardener the obvious route of combining her love of gardening and her love for osteopathy came to her in 2012 when she decided to open the Garden Studio Osteopaths in the wonderful setting of a garden.
